Spectacular burger spot. Just a little ways off the highway for easy access. This burger joint is serving up all kinds of friendly vibes and has a great welcoming feel full of character. The inside is decorated to the hilt don’t be fooled by a plain outside, this place is crammed with rt 66 old school Americana. But the main event is the spectacular burgers and fries, perfectly cooked and incredibly delicious. There are a variety of burgers to choose from, as well as some other fast food type options, soups, salads, and sides. Cannot recommend this spot enough, take a break from the traffic and get some food at Schoops!
Visited today! Great place. Love the style. Good food. Burgers was great. Ice cream too. Pricey but the quality is great. Fresh meat not your typical burger. Amazing fries very fresh and crispy. Fast service and soda excellent. You will noticed is not your typical burger place. Thank you for the experience.
Friendly and attentive service. Food is delicious and the decor inside was very cute. They have green river on tap and their sweet tea is really exquisite.
We LOVED our visit to Schoop’s!! The inside is such a cute dinner atmosphere, the service was FANTASTIC, the food was incredible! The burgers are perfectly done, the Irish tots were loaded with goodness, and the milkshake was to die for. We definitely will be back!
Great location, my favorite by far. Food was good, came out hot and quick. But more importantly the service is second to none. I called to ask the hours, after calling another location (who shall remain unnamed ) and them telling me they were already getting ready to close their dining room 2hrs before their closing time. Anyway, the young lady who answered the phone at the Hammond location was very pleasant and sweet. Then our server was a young lady by the name of Payton (who told me her name was Payton, like Walter Payton, BROWNIE POINTS BEAR DOWN!! lol). She was very sweet, nice, and very attentive. She took really good care of me and my family! I think this location just became our only location!
It was my first time trying a smash hamburger and honestly it was one of the best hamburgers I’ve ever tried. The meat was juicy, cooked to perfection and it had that amazing fresh & delicious taste to it. All the other ingredients in it made it taste even better. The place was clean and in good order. Also, the staff was friendly and made me feel really welcomed. Thanks for the great food and your hospitality. Greetings from Northern California
I've not had bad food a Schoop's. Imma add this one to the list. Lot of 50's and 60's retro in the restaurant. The service was excellent as anticipated. The food? It's Schoop's. Good burgers. Great onion rings. This one also has tots. Not sure that they all do. I don't often look at the menu. Keep em in business. Stop and have a Mickey and malt. Of course, tip your server well.
Aside from the modern pop music playing, it would remind anyone of stepping in to a 1950s diner. Great food, decent prices and wonderful decor!
